Do you "Backstage" Know Him?

Updated: Nov 20, 2022

It is not enough to say you 'know Yahusha.'

A gentlemen I once knew just absolutely had to go to a big name concert that is naturally overcrowded with fans and the tickets are very inexplicably expensive. So, he bought a ticket anyway. Concert day arrives and he went to go stand in line to get into the concert. While he is waiting and standing in line, the lead singer arrives and passes right next to him in the line. He shouted, "Hey, can you get me backstage to see you perform close-up? I have followed your concerts for years...I know your songs...I have all your music and feel like I know you like the back of my own hand!" Before he even finishes babbling on about his blind loyalties , the singer looks at him and shakes his head no and replies, "I'm sorry, I do not know you." Then, he looks at a person standing right next to him in the line and recognizes that person from personal experience with them...and he reaches out and shakes their hand and says, "Come with me, I know you." It is not enough to say you know Him...He must know you or you do not get through that door. You cannot buy a ticket and no amount of screaming will get you any closer than being an observer. Only having Him know you will be the means to be a part of His life. Many will say to me in that day, ADONAI, ADONAI, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye transgressors of the Torah. MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 7:22-23 את CEPHER
